this droid was owned by the evil Doctor Raygar, who badly mistreated it at every opportunity. It was PD-28 who helped Wicket, Teebo, Latara, and Kneesaa escape the evil plans of Doctor Raygar, and later helped them thwart Raygar's plans to steal the Sunstar.
