this was the traditional weapon of the Kilian Rangers, and served as a form of badge of office and symbol of their loyalty to Kilia IV. The lance was essentially an ancient sporting blaster rifle, to which was attached a long bayonet. High-ranking Kilian Rangers learned to imbue the Force into their lance, giving it enhanced power and accuracy.
