this branch of the Jedi Knights was similar in many respects to the Agricultural and Medical Corps. The EduCorps was comprised of students of The Force who were in training during the Old Republic, and educational services to the underprivileged children of the galaxy. Underlying this humanitarian goal was the idea that Jedi Padawans needed to understand that living beings needed to understand certain facts about their galaxy.
