this was the first Imperial-II class Star Destroyer produced by Kuat Drive Yards, which was placed under the command of Admiral Feyet Kiez. It was feared by pirates, smugglers, and members of the Alliance, and its reputation was bested only by the Super-class Star Destroyer Executor. Essentially a prototype, the Empire was sent out to patrol hyperspace lanes and ambush Alliance supply convoys and medical ships.
