Ghorfa
this race once inhabited the deserts of the planet Tatooine, digging cities from the bedrock in order to escape the heat. Many xenoarchaeologists believe that the Ghorfas died out when offworld settlers disrupted the water supply they had maintained for generations. Others believe that the the Ghorfas simply evolved into a nomadic species, hunting for new water sources. These nomadic Ghorfas were widely held to be the ancestors of modern Tusken Raiders.
