this man served as the Presider of Vannix, up until the point when Coruscant fell to the Yuuzhan Vong. Upon hearing of the loss of Coruscant, Presider Sakins looted the planetary treasury and took his aides, his family, and his mistress and fled the planet. Sakins' departure left Vannix without a leader and virtually bankrupt.
