this was one of the most industrialized sectors of the Old Republic, rivalled only by the Corellian and Kuat Sectors. During the Clone Wars, many of the planets in the Humbarine Sector either sided with the Confederacy of Independent Systems or were subjugated by it, providing a key industrial resource for the Separatist cause.
