this was the Tusken Raider name for the light tents they used as homes. Each urtya was formed from the skin and bones of a bantha or other large creature. The skins of the tent were often covered during seasonal encampments with a hardener created from bantha spittle, adding strength and rigidity against Tatooine's sandstorms.
