this strong, chrome-like alloy was used in the manufacture of specialized blaster weapons. Because dallorian could absorb and dissipate large amounts of heat, it allowed blaster manufacturers to use larger power packs to generate rapid-fire blasts of energy. This combination, which would melt or destroy a normal blaster, was tempered by the dallorian alloy.
