Installer Droid
this was the term used to describe any of the simple automatons used on the planet Coruscant, during the last years of the Old Republic, to perform routine maintenance to the windows of the tall skyscrapers that dominated the planet's cityscape. The used of installer droids, such as INS-444, meant that humans did not have to scale the incredibly tall buildings to replace broken panes of glass. These droids lacked any sophistication, requiring constant communication with a central processing system to receive instructions.
