this was one of the Old Republic's largest shipyards, during the years surrounding the Great Sith War. Millennia later, the Foerost Shipyards were purchased from the Old Republic by the Techno Union. Several centuries before the Clone Wars, the shipyards served as research and development facilities for the Techno Union.
