this was the Teek discovered by Tuner Ryna, having climbed aboard Ryna's spaceship one day. Ryna discovered that Yeep - whether that was the creature's name or not, Ryna couldn't tell - was incredibly fast, and entered Yeep in the "Mobquet Presents: Fastest Land Beins" races, just prior to the onset of the Clone Wars. Yeep easily beat the rest of the competition, but his victory was protested by many other racers, who claimed Yeep was not sentient. The Mobquet judges eventually deemed that Yeep was "adequately sentient" to qualify, and the furry being retained the title.
