this young man worked for the police force that protected the city of Gadrin, on the planet Cularin, during the years following the Battle of Naboo. Corporal Ortin was also a member of the underground resistance that sprang up in response to the presence of the Metatheran Cartel on the planet, using his position within the police force to funnel information back to the resistance.
