this lazy young man was the son of a well-known biotechnical surgeon based in the city of Hedrett, on the planet Cularin, during the last years of the Old Republic. Despite his mother's impressive credentials and high-standing in society, both Kris and his father were slackers who lived off her earnings. Krishad never worked a single day in his life when he joined the underground resistance that sprang up on Cularin, following the Metatheran Cartel's rise to power. He joined up after he met Gerta Haman, and eventually became one of the underground's largest financial backers. Despite his parents' wishes, Kris realized that this was a cause to which he could commit himself. He maintained the outward appearance of a layabout, in order to hide his true identity. However, in order to fund the efforts of the resistance, Kris ended up borrowing a large sum of credits - 1,138 to be exact - from Polst, after his own parents refused to help.
