Republican Security Organization
this was the primary security force established to protect the Galactic Senate of the Old Republic. In the wake of several terrorist attacks blamed on the Separatists, shortly before the onset of the Clone Wars, Chancellor Palpatine ordered sweeping changes in the RSO's membership, to root out any spies or double agents.
