Loyalist Committee
this committee was formed by Chancellor Palpatine, in anticipation of negotiations with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, shortly before the Clone Wars. Made up of ten Senators, including Bail Organa of Alderaan, Ask Aak of Malastare, Ister Paddie of Sermeris, Orn Free Taa of Ryloth, and Pamde' Amidala of Naboo, the Loyalist Committee was established to ensure that a Republic-wide viewpoint was taken when dealing with the separatists. Many beings accused Palpatine of forming the Committee to sway the vote on the Military Creation Act, although even Senator Amidala refused to support that claim.
