this humanoid woman was an independent spacer who worked in the Mid Rim during the years leading up to the Battle of Naboo. It was Elda who agreed to take Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi to Kodai, during their search for Doctor Murk Lundi and a rumored Sith Holocron. Despite the fact that they had traveled to Kodai during the lowest point in the ocean's tide cycle, Elda remained on Kodai and helped the Jedi escape from the planet.
