this was a fifteen percent tax, levied against the price of a seat aboard a passenger liner or transport ship, imposed the Old Republic Senate in an effort to raise funds for the government. It was leveled mainly at those seats sold aboard corporate luxury and passenger liners, shortly before the Clone Wars.
