Gwurran
this was the name given to the smaller race of Ansionians. They were hyperactive, inquisitive beings who inhabited the remote canyons and rocky outcroppings of Ansion, preferring to remain isolated from their nomadic cousins, the Alwari. Shorter in stature than the Alwari, the Gwurran had red-orange eyes, and they deeply hated the Alwari. The Gwurran, because of their self-imposed isolation, were considered backward by their taller cousins.
