this was the sentient race which was native to the planet Zaloriis. Innately skittish and fearful, the Zaloriians spent much of their history living in small towns, away from each other and the settlements which sprang up on the planet over the centuries. They avoided the open desert, fearful of "dune ghosts" and other scary creatures.
