Stenos
Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian, and Chewbacca sought the bounty hunter Bossk on this planet, sometime after the Battle of Hoth. The planet had once been the site of an Alliance base, during the early days of the Galactic Civil War, but it was eventually overrun by Imperial forces. The Imperial occupation earned the hatred of the Stenax race, which launched the Stenax Massacres some ten months after the Battle of Endor to try and strike back at their oppressors. However, the civilian casualties were exceptionally high, and the New Republic military was forced to put an end to the Stenaxes' invasions. Ultimately, monitoring posts were erected in orbit around Stenos to keep track of the activities of the Stenax.
