this Nagai male, whose full name was Taikotelai Akikoma, was captured by Leia Organa and four Zeltrons - Rahuhl, Marruc, Jahn, and Bahb - on the planet Trenwyth, shortly after the Nagai decimated its population. He had been the victim of torture at the hands of an unknown being, and was terrified when captured by them. He whined the entire time that the Alliance team was waiting for a rescue ship, since their own vessel was damaged in the fighting for Trenwyth. He seemed to develop an emotional attachment to Leia during his captivity, as she was the only member of the group to show him any compassion. It was later discovered that Tai was a wing leader in the Nagai Navy. When he returned to Nagi, Tai was killed by his commanding officer, Den Siva, for accepting the help of Organa and the Zeltrons.
