this Imperial Army Colonel was part of the team assembled by Darth Vader to guard the laboratory on Belderone, and to subjugate the planet Kulthis, during the height of the Galactic Civil War. Colonel Maldrod was continually amazed at Vader's use of the Force, whereas his contemporary, General Andrid, openly scoffed at Vader's devotion to it.
