this Hutt was a noted supplier of black-market weaponry and spices during the Old Republic. He maintained a secret base on the planet Naboo, shortly before the Trade Federation blockaded the planet, in order to keep his business dealings out of sight of the Republic. When the Trade Federation blockaded Naboo, Borgo suddenly found that he was cut off from most of his lines of profit. He was left with the small amount of income he normally got from his legitimate businesses. Because, of this, Borgo allied himself with the Naboo, helping them gear up for the Battle of Naboo. As the Clone Wars passed and the Empire to control of the galaxy, Borvo remained hidden on Naboo. He branched out his operations to take advantage of the Galactic Civil War, controlling a number of smuggling and gunrunning operations.
