Tarc
this was the alias given to the young boy, Dab Hantaq, by Viqi Shesh, during their attempt to escape from Coruscant aboard the Millennium Falcon. Senator Shesh, under the guise of the refugee Welda, claimed that Tarc was the orphaned son of Ran Kether. Their ruse was discovered by the combat droid YVH 1-507A, which detected that Senator Shesh was using an ooglith masquer to alter her appearance. Tarc followed Han Solo and his wife, Leia Organa Solo, to the based on Borleias after Coruscant was lost to the Yuuzhan Vong, trying to regain a measure of respectability with the New Republic. He renounced his old name and simply went by Tarc, and eventually made friends with Tam Elgrin.
