this small, insectile creature was actually a piece of Yuuzhan Vong technology, developed to serve as a remote listening device. When alerted to the presence of an intruder, the sensislug would exude a chemical as part of its normal respiration. This chemical caused most humanoid species to a deep sleep, rendering them unconscious for a short period of time. Upon awakening, humanoids experienced severe headaches, nausea, and irritation of the nasal membranes.
