Yri Worm
this species of blind annelid was native to the moon of Tilnes. Despite the moon's lifeless appearance, the yri managed to survive. These worms lived below the surface, riddling the crust of Tilnes with their tunnels. Worms moved through the rock by pulling themselves along with their scales. The mining operations which were established on Tilnes tried to exterminate the yri worms, because the worm tunnels made the mining passages susceptible to cave-ins. However, the meter-long yri proved to be somewhat intelligent, and began to actually fight back against the miners. Hiem Bryl went so far as to offer a fifty-credit bounty for each yri worm killed, but had to abandon the program after more than a thousand worms were brought in but the problem continued to escalate.
