this was one of the few datafiles from the old Industrial Intelligence computer banks which was decrypted following the corporation's merger with Automata Galactica. The merger created the mega-corporation Industrial Automaton, and the data contained in the Intellex file led to the development of the Intellex series of droid brains, which were used in the R-series astromech droids.
