Travelers of Gap Nine
this was the name used by the natives of the planet Gap Nine to describe the ancient beings who first came to their planet. The Travelers were arrived in two waves: a wave of monsters and fiends initially, then a group of knights who arrived to dispatch them. The monsters who arrived first created wondrous temples where they worshipped their own dark gods. The knights who vanquished them restored the temples and used them as libraries and museums.
