L'varren, Dictio
a native of the planet Alderaan, this man was the New Republic's ambassador to the planet Indu San. He had been away from Alderaan when it was destroyed by the first Death Star, and immediately joined the Alliance as an ambassador to other worlds. L'varren was present on Indu San, hoping to sway the Indu Council to join the New Republic, when Shek Barayel was assassinated. L'varren did everything he could to help with the investigation into Barayel's death.
