known as Franni, this Finance Retrieval and Net Investigations Droid was designed to assist Imperial special investigations agents in tracking down criminals by following their money trail. Jet-black, polished armor plating gave the FRN-I droid a sinister appearance, similar to the IT-series interrogation droids. These droids had exclusive access to the Imperial FiNet, and used it to track the sale and purchase of goods and services, as well as to track financial transactions.
