this was the name of an area along the border of the Mid Rim and Outer Rim Territories, where there was intense rebel activity during the height of the New Order. The Alliance funded much of the rebellion in this area, with a large contribution coming from Meysen Kayson and the Greel Wood Logging Corporation.
