this speeder was actually a modified Maeltorp Cargorunner transport craft, adapted for use as a racing vehicle by the sponsors of the BlastBoat 2000. It was armed with a tritium mining drill, and could attain speeds of 200 kilometers an hour. Its maximum flight ceiling was just one meter.
