ostensibly developed by Hugo Cutter, this technology involved shooting a beam of specialized energy at certain humanoid species. The energy beam shut down their internal systems and rendered them safely unconscious. The technology worked on large species, like Gigorans, but not on Humans, Rodians, or Devaronians.
