Laa
this bouncer, one of the oldest and wisest of his species on the planet Ruusan, rescued the young girl named Rain when her ship crashed into the planet. Rain had been traveling with her brother and cousin to join the Jedi Knights who were massing for the Battle of Ruusan, and Laa managed to save the girl from a dreadful fall. Unfortunately for both of them, Laa had a dream in which Rain succumbed to the Dark Side of the Force. When Laa was mistakenly killed by Petja, who was acting on orders from Lord Hoth to eliminate the insane bouncers, Rain was so angry that she killed Petja and allowed herself to be consumed by the Dark Side.
