this man was the older cousin to the youths known as Tomcat, Bug, and Rain, and was a native of the planet Somov Rit shortly before the Battle of Ruusan. Root recognized the Force sensitivity in Tomcat and Bug, and allowed the Jedi scout Torr Snapit to take the children to Ruusan, where they could augment the strength of the Jedi Knights massing there against Lord Kaan and the Brotherhood of Darkness.
