this was a magical stone discovered by the Ewoks. The Ewoks refused to use the Sunstar, fearing that its magical power was too strong for them to control. Only the shamn Logray ever dared to use it, combining it with Morag's Shadowstone to defeat the Tulgah witch and maintain the freedom of the Ewoks.
