this was one of the four ruling families of the Chiss civiliation. Like the other families, the Csapla bloodlines predate modern Chiss society. The Csapla family was responsible for distributing resources to the breadth of the Chiss civilization, including the natives of Csilla as well as the twenty-eight Chiss colony worlds. During the early years of the New Republic, it was the Csapla family which controlled the actions of Csilla and the Chiss, with the other families acting as advisors.
