this Alliance procurement officer was shot down by Imperial forces over Naalol, and was forced to crashland on the backwater world. The forty-five-year-old Talnar was known to his desire to work alone, which his superiors allowed only because of his skills. His ship, the Golden Jewel, was irreparably damaged in the crash, and Lieutenant Talnar was captured by the Oquan and held for ransom by Rel Acoi. A team of Alliance operatives was able to defeat the Oquan and rescue Talnar, before he could be turned over to the Empire.
