this planet was the primary world in the Ua System of the Centrality. The native Quor'sav were nearly wiped out when offworld colonists - most of whom were mammalian - introduced a virus to the planet. While the colonists' biology allowed them to be immune carriers, the avian Quor'sav were quickly stricken by the virus and died.
