this felinoid alien worked with Jabot to con wealthy beings out of their fortunes in card games. Both Dereth and Jabot had Traxes BioElectronics implant communicators placed in their skulls, allowing them to transmit and receive each other's thoughts. Using the implant communicators, Dereth hid behind a screen and monitored Jabot's opponents, silently sending information on the cards the opponent held and their actions during the card game.
