this voice scrambler was produced by Ulkop Securities during the height of the Galactic Civil War. Appearing to be a simple piece of jewelry, the SVC-700 blocks the reception abilities of nearby surveillance devices by emitting a low-frequency distortion field. This device does not prevent a nearby individual from hearing conversation, however, but provided a measure of security in an unknown environment.
