this man was a contemporary of Alex Winger, and actually attended classes with her at the local university, during the early years of the New Republic. He almost shot her when they first encountered each other at the underground headquarters of the Imperial resistance on Garos IV, since Wink knew that she was the daughter of the Imperial Governor. The event became a standing joke between the two, who used their pointed fingers to simulate blasters whenever they met. Wink served as a communications technician during the rebellion against the Imperial government on Garos IV.
