this rare form of Yuuzhan Vong incense was burned by only the most exalted individuals of their species. Any individual not of sufficient social status caught with the incense was subject to execution for overstepping their bounds. The scent of burning paaloc was said to resemble that of the ancient and forgotten Yuuzhan Vong homeworld, and was only recognizable as a distant memory.
