this Imperial Security Bureau agent was dispatched to put a halt to the Alliance's plans to evacuate refugees from Bespin's Cloud City, shortly before the Battle of Endor. He employed a mixture of Imperial soldiers and bounty hunters, including Jod Kast and Zardra, to ensure that the refugees did not escape. Despite the efforts of his ragtag team, as well as the war droid DX-2K2, Thane was eventually capture by a team of Alliance agents. The refugees were freed, and later relocated to Kaliska.
