Grasser
this species of large herdbeast was raised by the Korunnai natives of Haruun Kal. They used trained akk dogs to keep the huge grassers in their herds. Grassers had coats of silky fur that helped them maintain their body heat, and they moved about on six powerful legs. The four frontmost legs were used to pull up vegetation and shove it into the grasser's huge mouth. The head of the grasser was dominated by three large eyes, which gave the grasser the ability to look left, right, and up in search of food or predators. The name grasser was given to these creatures by the native Korunnai, who observed that the grasser left behind a meadow-like swath as they moved through jungles, consuming all plantlife in their path. The Korunnai learned to follow the grasser herds to safety during the winters, when Downstorms were prevalent. It was for this reason that grasser herds were protected by the Korunnai and their trained akk dogs.
