Kimdyara, Kin
this young zoologist worked for the Old Republic, classifying new creatures found on newly-discovered planets. He had a habit of classifying creatures by visual similarity to creatures he knew of, with the intention of renaming them once he returned to his laboratory. The one time he failed to do so was during the exploration of Kharzet III, when Kin discovered what he termed a "long-necked gundark." He died before returning to Coruscant, and the name "long-necked gundark" stuck.
