this man was a former Old Republic operative to worked for the Senate as a spy and investigator. He was listed as having died some thirty years before the Battle of Naboo. At that time, Tarrance Chenati became one of the Senate's "no-names," and his identity was retired. It was reactivated twenty years later when the Senate needed someone to investigate the starfighter training facility established by the Jedi Knights on Centax 2. The identity was discovered by Tahl and Qui-Gon Jinn when they discovered he was trying to sabotage Clee Rhara's starfighters in such a way as to frame her for the destruction. Clee Rhara was cleared of any crime when Chenati fled Centax 2, during Tahl's investigation. Chenati resurfaced twelve years later, serving aboard the starship BioCruiser under the No-Name alias Kern.
