TelBrinTel Science Research Droid
this boxy, humanoid droid was developed by TelBrinTel after the Empire commissioned the corporation to create a weapons and armor research automaton. The SRD was given a monocular eyepiece which contained a powerful molecular microscope, and its endosystem was designed to accept a wide variety of dockable implements. For the most part, the SRD was delivered to Imperial research facilities shortly after the Battle of Hoth. A few individuals, such as the infamous droid known as Geth, were stolen by the Alliance.
