Grebleips
this unusual, puddle-footed being represented his homeworld of Brodo Asogi as an Old Republic Senator, during the years leading up to the Battle of Naboo. Several years later, Grebleibs was also one of the many Senators who signed the Petition of the Two Thousand. In the wake of the Clone Wars and the establishment of the New Order, Senator Grebleips was among the sixty-three Senators who were arrested for allegedly supporting the so-called Jedi Rebellion. Note that this is a reference to the film E.T. - The Extraterrestrial, as the name Grebleips is actually Spielberg spelled backwards. Senator Grebleips is the E.T. seen in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.
